Sunny greetings, dear reader!

Bettina and Carlos are both very passionate when it comes to building international products for a global audience. When their paths crossed, they ended up forming a dynamic duo on a mission to bring attention to internationalization to each and everyone.

It must have been a sunny Californian day when they met back in August 2020 at DocuSign in San Francisco. Bettina had already been working at DocuSign since December 2016 when Carlos brought lots of energy and new ideas into the Localization Team.

Pretty quickly, they teamed up and started to evangelize best practices within the company, chewing everyone’s ear off about processes and methods to become a truly global company.

In March 2024, both left DocuSign and were looking for new ways to spread their love for internationalization. They created the GILT Ninjas blog. GILT stands for Globalization, Internationalization, Localization, and Translation. Due to their skills and blend of mystique, loyalty, adaptability and resourcefulness, they call themselves the GILT Ninjas.
